I wrote this little application in my spare time. File tear is written in Visual Studio with QT integrated in it. This little tool is often very handy in situations where you have very large files and its not easy to transfer them across to your intended recipient because of its size limit.
For example you want to transfer a video file whose size is 100 mb as an attachment to your friend on his email and your email provider only allows you to attach a files of size 15 mb or less. You can break up your video file into segments of 15mb or less using file tear, you will end up in 7 segments of that video file (if your segment size is arround 15mb). now you can send them one by one to your friend and tell your friend to join them using File Tear.
File Tear works on all types of files.
